RULES AND POLICIES

 

Club Rules

 

The following rules and regulations must be adhered to at all times by every member of the Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club

 

· All members of the Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club must be a full ‘True Blue’ Chelsea member or season ticket holder and provide their ‘True Blue’ membership or season ticket number issued to them by Chelsea Football Club.

· All members must abide by the match day and stadium rules set by Chelsea Football Club.

· Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club have a zero tolerance policy on drugs, any member found in possession or to be taking drugs will be excluded from the club with no reimbursement.

· Bullying, racism and violence will not be tolerated and may result in members being asked to leave the club with no reimbursement and will be reported to Chelsea Football Club. In the event of self defence, the committee will decide what action, if any to be taken. Any decision by the committee is final.

· Appeals may be made to the Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club committee members. Their decision is final.

· Only members who have paid for a full membership are entitled to attend games with the group and be included within the arranged transportation to and from matches.

· Club rules may only be changed if they benefit the Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club members and maintain or enhance the integrity of the club. Members may suggest rules but the committee will ultimately have the decision on any changes.

· Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian, if in the case of a guardian, parental consent must be given.

· Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club reserve the right to change prices in accordance with inflation/deflation to either transport costs or Chelsea Football Club ticket prices.

· New members must agree to the Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club terms and conditions by signing and returning relevant documentation to the chairman or secretary.

· If additional committee members are required and the committee cannot decide who to appoint, a group election will be held.

· Permanent committee members for the Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club include Joseph Tyler, Founder and Chairman, Catherine Lilley, Club secretary.

 

Rules for ticket allocation

 

· In the event of high demand, spaces will be issued on a first come, first serve basis, however every attempt will be made to provide additional transport so that every member will have the opportunity to attend.

· Only members that have paid in full for tickets and transport, just transport in the even of season ticket holders, are eligible to attend games.

· Members must declare interest for upcoming games by way of appropriate paperwork, where possible, a minimum of 8 weeks before said event, and be paid in full 7 weeks prior to           the event. This is a Chelsea Football Club requirement for Supporters Clubs.

· Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club cannot guarantee match tickets for every game, all we are entitled to is the highest priority.

 

Rules for transportation

 

· Members must abide by the legal requirements regarding carriage of passengers to sporting events. This is at the police’s request. (See additional documentation)

· Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club members must always keep transport clean and tidy as per the carriers rules.

· Members are advised to be at the designated pick up point 10 minutes prior to departure, if a delay is feared, they must notify a committee member immediately.

· The Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club cannot be held responsible for delays due to roadwork or traffic congestion.

· Any problems with the transport, i.e. delays, a committee member will notify all members attending to advise of changes.

· Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club reserve the right to deny travel to any member they believe may endanger the safety of other members, transport or staff.

· Seat belts when provided must be worn at all times.

· Under no circumstances will smoking be acceptable on any form of transport.

· Eastern Blues Chelsea Supporters Club cannot guarantee transportation for every game.
